The academic council of Chalapathi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences was established in the year 2016 and performs the following functions:
1. Scrutinize and approve the proposals with or without modification of BOS regarding regulations, syllabi etc.
2. Make regulations regarding the admission of students to different programmes.
3. Make regulations for sports, Co & Extra curricular activities.
4. Advice the governing body on suggestions pertaining to academic affairs.
Composition
1. Chairman - Principal
2. Members - All HOD's of the institution
3. Four teachers - Members from committees of the institution
4. Four external experts - Members from industry, commerce, Law, Education
5. Three nominees - Nominated by University
6. Member secretarry - Nominated by Principal
7. One Student Member from each programme - Nominated by Principal
