Vision |
To lead toward effective global healthcare by flourishing advanced research in pharmacology and assimilating true entrepreneurial spirit with care and lenity. |
Mission |
To improve scientific attitude by conducting and promoting innovative research in pharmacology and toxicology.
|
Objectives |
01. To promote in silico research for reducing, refining and replacing animal experiments in education and research.
02. To encourage the usage of non invasive techniques in pharmacology research.
03. To encourage alternative animal models that will promote the concept of Three R’s namely “Reduce, Refine and Reuse” to reduce use of animals in education and research.
04. To provide and develop continuous education programs and expansion of professional interaction.
05. Fostering high quality research in clinical and preclinical pharmacology.
06. To maintain medicinal plant garden with rich sources of plants with therapeutic value for phytopharmacology research.
07. To be Centre for Excellence in Pharmacology and Toxicology Research for education, training, consultancy/collaborative/contract research approved by regulatory bodies.
