INDUSTRY INSTITUTE PLACEMENT AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP CELL
 
OBJECTIVES
 
In the changing scenario of globalization and emerging new technologies, relationship between Industry and Institute has become indispensable. The Industry Institute Placement and Entrepreneurship Cell (IIPEC) acts as an interface between the industries and the institute to take up collaborative activities for mutual benefit. This creates the win-win situation to serve society and nation. The objective of the CLPT-IIPEC is to reduce the gap between Industry expectations and academic offerings by direct involvement of industry to attain a symbiosis.

FUNCTIONS
 
01. To arrange campus placement drives for the students.
02. Identifying the opportunities in the industry and training the students to meet industrial expectation.
03. Inviting guest lectures by eminent personalities from the industry.
04. To arrange industrial visits for the students
05. Identifying the opportunities for students project works/students internships in industries.
06. To develop relationship between industry and institution for research activities/consultancy works.
07. To sign Memorandum of Understand (MoU) with pharmaceutical industries/research institutes/hospitals for training and research programmes.
08.To promote innovation across the students and making them as entrepreneur.

PRACTICE SCHOOL
 
1. Meet the rapidly changing needs and challenges of a professional workplace
2. Enable students to acquire learning by applying the knowledge and skills they possess, in unfamiliar, open-enabled real life situations.
3. The aim of these teaching practices is for students to develop independent knowledge and skills.
 
ENTREPRENEURSHIP
 
- Develop and strengthen the entrepreneurial quality i.e motivation or need for achievement.
- Provide traing to operate business and to enhance marketing skills.
- Encourage self employment tendencies to make a successful entrepreneur.
 
ENTREPRENEURSHIP ACTIVITIES
 
01.Entrepreneurship Activity was organized in CLPT in association with District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) Government of Andhra Pradesh on 20-12-2017.
02.Entrepreneurship Activity was organized on "Economic Reforms and Entrepreneurship" by G.Prasad, former principal & Registrar, ANU on 06-03-2019.
